A CLASSIC

Monday, June 29, 2009

An old Nun who lived in a convent next to a big Brooklyn construction site
noticed the coarse language of the workers and decided to spend some time
with them during their lunch break and correct their wicked ways.
She decided to pack a lunch for herself and sit with them and convince them
to refrain from such language.
She put her sandwich and flask in a brown paper bag and went over to the
spot where the men were eating.
She walked up to them and said to them with a big smile,
"Do you know Jesus Christ?"
They all shook their heads and looked at each other. One of them looked up
to where the steel-workers were having their lunch and yelled,
"Anybody up there know Jesus Christ ??"
One of the steel-workers yelled out,
"Why ?"
The worker yelled back
"His mother's here with his lunch !"

BE HAPPY IN TOUGH TIMES

Money has no memory but experience has

You will never know the cost of your education in school and college

But you will cherish the memories of school and college days

Few years from now you will forget the bill for hospilisation of your mother’s

But will feel excited you saved her life.

You will forget the amount spent in your honeymoon

But till last the last breath remember the bliss of togetherness.

Money has no memory experience has

Good times and bad times, times of prosperity and times of poverty, times when the future
looked so secure and times when you didn't know from where the tomorrow will
come… life has been in one way or the other a roller-coaster ride for everyone.
Beyond all that abundance and beyond all that deprivation, what remains is the memory
of experiences.

Sometimes the wallet was full… sometimes even the pocket was empty.

There was enough and you still had reasons to frown.

There wasn't enough and you still had reasons to smile.

Today, you can look back with tears of gratitude for all

Only you can remember with fondness the history of your true self.

The first time you balanced the cycle

The first time you were allowed to go on your own

The first gift to your parents from your first pay

The first gift your daughter gave from her pay

The cost of the effort will be forgotton but the feelings always dwell .

There seems to be tough time globally

Let this recession not make the quality of the life bad

Tough times may change tomorrow

But tough words at toughest time hang on

So let the recession not make recession of our lives.

What may be, though not in large

Let us go to the local temple instead of a pilgrimage

Let us take our kids to the local park if not on international trip

Let us have get togethers at home though not in a five star hotel

Time may change, money will start flowing in

But if you lost your happiness you cannot get back

Let us make a statement

How much I feel has nothing to do with

How much I have.

GOOD TO LEARN

Wednesday, June 17, 2009

Life is full of learning

I have learned,

That the best classroom in the world is at the feet of an elderly person.

That just one person saying to me, "You've made my day!" makes my day.

That being kind is more important than being right.

That you should never say "no" to a gift from a child.

That I can always pray for someone when I don't have the strength to help
him in some other way.

That sometimes all a person needs is a hand to hold and a heart to
understand.

That simple walks with my father around the block on summer nights when I
was a child did wonders for me as an adult.

That money doesn't buy class.

That it's those small daily happenings that make life so spectacular.

That under everyone's hard shell is someone who wants to be appreciated
and loved.

That to ignore the facts does not change the facts.

That love, not time, heals all wounds.

That the easiest way for me to grow as a person is to surround myself with

people smarter than I am.

That everyone you meet deserves to be greeted with a smile.

That life is tough, but I'm tougher.

That opportunities are never lost; someone will take the ones you miss.

That when you harbor bitterness, happiness will dock elsewhere.

That one should keep his words both soft and tender, because tomorrow he
may have to eat them

That everyone wants to live on top of the mountain, but all the happiness
and growth occurs while you're climbing it.

That the less time I have to work with, the more things I get done.

COMMON THOUGHTS

Saturday, June 13, 2009

These are very common thoughts yet to hold always

Never cry for any relationship for the one you cry does’nt deserve your tears and the one who deserves will never let you cry.

Treat every one with kindness not because they are nice but because you are good

Never search your happiness in others which will make you feel alone ,Rather search it in yourself you will feel happy

Even you are left alone always be positive in life. There is something positive in every person.Even a stopped watch is RIGHT twice a day.

Happiness always looks small when we hold it in our hands.

I WISH YOU ENOUGH

Friday, June 12, 2009

Recently I overheard a Father and daughter in their last moments together
at the airport. They had announced the departure.

Standing near the security gate, they hugged and the Father said, 'I love
you, and I wish you enough.'

The daughter replied, 'Dad, our life together has been more than enough.
Your love is all I ever needed.. I wish you enough, too, Dad.'

They kissed and the daughter left. The Father walked over to the window
where I was seated. Standing there I could see he wanted and needed to cry.
I tried not to intrude on his privacy, but he welcomed me in by asking,
'Did you ever say good-bye to someone knowing it would be forever?'

'Yes, I have,' I replied. 'Forgive me for asking, but why is this a for
ever good-bye?'.

'I am old, and she lives so far away. I have challenges ahead and the
reality is - the next trip back will be for my funeral,' he said.

'When you were saying good-bye, I heard you say, 'I wish you enough.' May I
ask what that means?'

He began to smile. 'That's a wish that has been handed down from other
generations. My parents used to say it to everyone..' He paused a moment
and looked up as if trying to remember it in detail, and he smiled even
more. 'When we said, 'I wish you enough,' we were wanting the other person
to have a life filled with just enough good things to sustain them.' Then
turning toward me, he shared the following as if he were reciting it from
memory.

I wish you enough sun to keep your attitude bright no matter how gray the
day may appear.

I wish you enough rain to appreciate the sun even more.

I wish you enough happiness to keep your spirit alive and everlasting.

I wish you enough pain so that even the smallest of joys in life may appear
bigger.

I wish you enough gain to satisfy your wanting.
I wish you enough loss to appreciate all that you possess.

I wish you enough hellos to get you through the final good- bye.

He then began to cry and walked away.

They say it takes a minute to find a special person, an hour to appreciate
them, a day to love them; but then an entire life to forget them.

TAKE TIME TO LIVE....TAKE TIME TI WISH

To all my friends around the world

I WISH YOU ENOUGH

Life explained -Funny

Tuesday, June 9, 2009

On the first day, God created the dog and said:
'Sit all day by the door of your house and bark at anyone who comes in or walks
past. For this, I will give you a life span of twenty years.'
The dog said: 'That's a long time to be barking. How about only ten years and I'll
give you back the other ten?'
So God agreed.

On the second day, God created the monkey and said:
'Entertain people, do tricks, and make them laugh. For this, I'll give you a
twenty-year life span.'
The monkey said: 'Monkey tricks for twenty years? That's a pretty long time to
perform. How about I give you back ten like the Dog did?'
And God agreed.

On the third day, God created the cow and said:
'You must go into the field with the farmer all day long and suffer under the sun,
have calves and give milk to support the farmer's family. For this, I will give
you a life span of sixty years.'
The cow said: 'That's kind of a tough life you want me to live for sixty years..
How about twenty and I'll give back the other forty?'
And God agreed again.

On the fourth day, God created humans and said:
'Eat, sleep, play, marry and enjoy your life. For this, I'll give you twenty
years.'
But the human said: 'Only twenty years? Could you possibly give me my twenty, the
forty the cow gave back, the ten the monkey gave back, and the ten the dog gave
back; that makes eighty, okay?'
'Okay,' said God, 'You asked for it.'

So that is why for our first twenty years we eat, sleep, play and enjoy ourselves.
For the next forty years we slave in the sun to support our family.. For the next
ten years we do monkey tricks to entertain the grandchildren.. And for the last
ten years we sit on the front porch and bark at everyone.
Life has now been explained to you.

We need to live the life we asked for joyously

Feel happy to acknowledge.

I came across this article and sharing with you here.

What Happens In Heaven.

I dreamt that I went to Heaven and an angel was showing me around.. We walked side-by-side inside a large workroom filled with angels.
My angel guide stopped in front of the first section and said,

'This is the Receiving Section. Here, all petitions to God said in prayer are received.'

I looked around in this area, and it was terribly busy with so many angels sorting out petitions written on voluminous paper sheets and scraps from people all over the world.
Then we moved on down a long corridor until we reached the second section.

The angel then said to me, 'This is the Packaging and Delivery Section. Here, the graces and blessings the people asked for are processed and delivered to the living persons who asked for him.I noticed again how busy it was there. There were many angels working hard at that station, since so many blessings had been requested and were being packaged for delivery to earth.
Finally at the farthest end of the long corridor we stopped at the door of a very small station. To my great surprise, only one angel was seated there, idlydoing nothing.

'This is the Aknowledgment Section,' my angel friend quietly admitted to me. He seemed embarrassed 'How is it that? There's no work going on here?' I asked.
So sad ,the angel sighed."After people recieve the blessings that they asked for, very few send back acknowledgments.
'How does one acknowledge God's blessings?' I asked.
'Simple,' the angel answered. 'Just say, 'Thank you, Lord.'
'What blessings should they acknowledge?' I asked.

'If you have food in the refrigerator, your back, a roof ,clothes ,overhead and a place to sleep you are richer than 75% of this world. 'If you have money in the bank, in your wallet, and spare change in a dish, you are among the top 8% of the world's wealthy.
If you get this on your computer then you are part of 1% who has this opportunity.

Also ..... 'If you woke up this morning with more health than illness .... you are more blessed than
the people who will not even survive this day.'If you have never experienced the fear in battle, the loneliness of imprisonment, the agony of torture, or the pangs of starvation .. you are ahead of 700 million people in the world.

If you can hold your head up and smile, you are not the norm, you're unique to all those in doubt and despair.'
Ok, what now? How can I start?
thinking of you .If you can read this message, you just received a double blessing in that someone was as very special and you are more blessed than over two billion people in the world who cannot read at all.

Have a good day, count your blessings and if you want, pass this along to remind everyone else how blessed we all are

Attn: Acknowledge Dept.: Thank You Lord! 'Thank you Lord, for giving me the ability to share this message and for giving me so many wonderful people to share with it.

Now we can know how blessed we are , then why not be happy.

ALWAYS BE HAPPY.

PEACE IN TRUTH

A boy and a girl were playing together. The boy had a collection of marbles. The girl had some sweets with her.
The boy told the girl that he will give her all his marbles in exchange for her sweets. The girl agreed. The boy kept the biggest and the most beautiful marble aside and gave the rest to the girl. The girl gave him all her sweets as she had promised.
That night, the girl slept peacefully. But the boy couldn’t sleep as he kept wondering if the girl had hidden some sweets from him the way he had hidden his best marble.

If you don’t give your hundred percent in a relationship, you’ll always keep doubting if the other person has given his/her hundred percent..

This is applicable for any relationship like love, employer-employee relationship etc., Give your hundred percent to everything you do and sleep peacefully.

This is a simple way to live happily that we love to live

Love to Live

Everyday is special if you think so
Every moment is memorable if you feel so
Everyone is unique if you feel so
Life is beautiful if you live so.

Life is to live
love to live
Live to Love

Dont miss this life

Past is a history
Future is a mystery
Present is a gift

Enjoy the gift and let us share the joy of living happily this moment and every moment
